Long time no see. Sorry about that, I lost patience and didn't feel like uploading anything. But here's a quick update since the last time I uploaded.

Danced in the rain on the second to last day of school

Graduated high school in the rain (hence my hat is drooping).

Got my license.

Baby Blessing for little Kolyton.

Annual Stewart Family Camp-out with a little addition and less rain.

Went to Kevin's parents house for 4th of July and fireworks!

Gave away two little kittens: Panther and Mink. Apple and Star are left and staying.

The kittens turned 4 months!

Parker turned eight and became a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

It's been a great year so far with lots of new experiences and new additions to the family. Hopefully the rest of the year will be just as fascinating! Have fun!

Good news and bad news.
Good news: the kittens are now one month old and are quickly on their way to being weaned!
Bad news: we had to change all their names except for one.

This is Mink, originally Licorice. A couple days ago, I realized his undercoat, that peeks out fairly well from the confines of his black upper coat, is gray and smokey. I tried naming him Smoke Ring because of this (and also for the gray rings around his ears) but then Mom suggested Mink instead and immediately it stuck. He even has slight rings around his tail! His hair is 3rd longest. Rather adventurous but still cautious around me.

The following is Star, before Figaroo. Turns out he is a she, I accidentally mixed up the names for the two kittens Panther and Star and thus instead of changing names, I just left her with the title of night's lamp. Very befitting for the white star that stands out on her chest. She has the shortest hair for her siblings and is without stripes like her brothers Apple and Mink. Her attitude is adventurous but it takes a long time before she approaches you let alone allow you to pick her up, you have to have fast hands. See here with her scared eyes, the only one startled by my camera.

Next is Panther, orignally considered female, his name is the only one that hasn't changed becuase it has stuck to him like everything else. He is both the longest haired and the most friendly. He crawled right up to you and into your lap. However, as Mom and I discovered today, don't touch him while he's eating, he complains heavily though he has yet to bite, just whines. And what's funny is that he is the only one to do so. I love him.

And last but never least is my all time favorite cute pie, Apple. Since day one he's kept the same name and as far as I can control, he will always have that name. He is the only tabby, only gray, and only one that both heeds me greatly and approaches me the most next to Panther. I pray he gets the best family. I love him the most as selfish as it might seem.

Apple was the only kitten we could get to try the milk, but like his mother, he seemed to love it!

The kittens did have kind of a struggle with the cat food but here Mink is doing his best to chew it up.

My Babies!!!!!!
Sisters, you may all have your children to blog about and show off and so for the time being I have my children to blog about and show off. (However, I suppose I feel the most like my sister Stephanie: 3 boys and 1 girl.) Hehe <3
AS the end of the 2008-2009 school year approaches, so does the last art show. And for this one the stakes are raised. At the end of the year, seniors students show off their personal talents and show case their artwork on boards decorated by themselves without the assistance of the instructor.

Ask Mom and Dad and they will tell you this had been a very traumatic and interesting experience. First when Mom and I transported the boards back to our house for cleaning and painting. Then on the first day of painting when my friend, Casey, (the other side of my board, we shared) and she accidentally locked her keys and phone in her car, thus having to call her mom to come from her work in Gilbert to fetch my friend's second set of keys at her home. Followed by yesterday when Dad, Casey, and I transported the board back to school. And finishing up with today's after school adventure of setting up the boards in the library and posting the masterpieces over the decorative wood panels.

I'm just glad they are almost completely done.

Casey's theme is magic based off her class portfolio of "Myths and Legends." Her original plan was to have climbing vines on an Italian wall. Unfortunately on the account of time and resources, she sacrificed for my petty swirl vines and metallic fireflies. She said she loved how it came out anyway and I think the boards very much mirrored her carefree style and energetic pictures.

And then there is my work. Sorry, I'm not posed to show you my face in this shot, but you win some and lose some; just be glad I was in front of the camera for once. My theme for my boards is "From art is born Magic." Thus I painted mine simple white (originally a more white-darkening-to-teal, but things never work out 100%) with metalic spray paint swirls. The finished desgin was lovely and I was indeed sad to cover it up, still I needed to put my work somewhere. I had Mom take some paper to school and cut me out some letters saying "LARA STEWART Candidate for Artist of the Year!" and then had the words curve around the board along the swirls (see the last photo). Hopefully everything will turn out wonderful.

I incourage anyone who may want to come to do so:

Kittens!!!! <3

Sorry its taken so long but here are the pictures of the 4 new prides to my life. By name and color they go:
1.) Licorice - bigger black male
2.) Figaroo - smaller black male
3.) Panther - black female
4.) Apple - gray-tabby male

The first two pictures are from their first week the rest are from today. They were born March 25th and are now 4 weeks old. In the first pictures they are about the size of Twinkies, now they are a little smaller than a regular size Mason jar.

About two weeks ago, Panda got tired of her box next to the back door and moved her kittens to the woodpile where she had had her last litter. Unfortunately most of you know how that turned out. Twitch is still wary of me even with my efforts to be friend him (And Olive is officially gone, I haven't seen him since Panda moved her kittens.) So as often as I can I hold the kittens by picking them up in an opening I made in the pile and cover with and old mat. Don't worry I haven't discovered any scorpions or widows yet but I'm still cautious. Then I closed off all other holes except for one access that Panda has been using. Hopefully these kitties will be adoptable next month.

YAY! KITTENS!!! <3

Can you tell which kitty is my favorite?

Oh and I just love how Figaroo's eyes were in this one. But no, their eyes won't always be blue.

All my other brothers and sisters have had the experience of having a cat that had kittens (well I actually am not sure about Karl but at least everyone else) and have always dreamed of this. I'm just so happy to have my own litter of kittens, I feel as much as the mother as Panda!

<3
Its been a long time. Sorry everyone. I forget, no time, and for a while I forgot where my cord was. Found it!

So this is a really fuzzy picture of Grandma Radcliff, Sophie, and me ( it was because the camera was on the wrong setting but that's no one's fault, I just didn't check before handing my camera to Aaron to take the picture.) Still fuzzy or not I like it. It's my personal picture of Sophie and me.

Panda's kittens are born!!!!!

Oh I am so happy right now, just like last week when Steph had Sophie!
I can't tell what gender they are yet, but it looks like 3 black and 1 gray. (That's the first question Mom asked when I called her and told her.)

Oh yay! Party at my house!

Today in seminary we had a really great lesson. It was over 2 Corinthians 4-6 (that being the chapters), and I felt I should be sharing my experience.

For starters I really liked the scripture 2 Cor. 4:16 that reads:
"...but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day."

I like this because it reminds me that even though we might have had a hard yesterday, and our bodies might be exhausted, we can start a new and still be happy today. I like this philosophy and is something that I try to live by, always have (but now I have a scripture to go a long with it). Being happy is something that everyone should do. I've experimented and have since found that being optimistic and smiling even in the face of tough trials, it is a lot easier to get through my day. By being mad or depressed causes stress to come more often and my body to feel sore faster and everything just becomes worse and I start singing Daniel Powter (and no body wants to hear that thanks to American Idol).

So that's my recommentdation to all you who read this. Stay happy. Life my be full of trials but as Nephi says: "...I know that the Lord giveth no commandments unto the children of men, save he shall prepare a way for them that they may accomplish the thing which he commandeth them."

God be with you till we meet again.

Sincerely,
Your beloved Mormon Girl

I was really lucky on Saturday. After my service project, my best friend, Krystee Jackson said she was going to the Renaissance Fair and asked if I wanted to go. Of course how could I say no?

There's an awesome weapons booth there, I really wish I had the $200 bucks it costs for just one sword, because then I would buy one of these babies. A wall of katanas (Japanese sword), I just had to take a picture.

There was also this giant tower with a dragon slide wrapping all the way around. I would have gone on it but I'm not so good this cramped spaces and I also didn't want to pay the dollar fee.

This is Krystee's cousin Tyler, visiting from Tucson. He joined us on our medival adventure and helping to make it even more fun, he's a cool kid.

Krystee and Tyler on a lion. Cousin moment right there.

Krystee and I both bought these awesome griffin puppets, you put them on our shoulder and they look so real, even feel real! Mine is the brown one because Krystee bought the black one before me.

And what's the best way to end a perfect day but with a perfect sunset? Awww, bast in the glory.

So yesterday morning I was able to join with my stake in a service project for the City of Mesa over by Riverview. See the Sea of Green? That's your tax dollars at work, everyone wore a green shirt like that. Our ward got to clean some alleys and then help pick concrete out of dirt so flowers could be planted. I can't wait to see what the area will look like later on.

These are my beehive friend (left to right) Natalie, Michelle, and Madi.

"Working in the alley, Going down down, Working in the alley, Whoops somebody slip down!~"

You can never go wrong with shadow puppets. "WOW"

Alex is always willing to lend a gloved hand.

Doesn't Whitney just radiate in the sunshine of 7 am?

I made sure to get one photo with me in it. But that's all you get.

(Left to right) Whitney, Hallie, Samantha, Cody, Tatum.

And finally the giant grasshoppers. So cute and so big, three inches long. I tried holding one but it kept flying away. O well. I had fun. Never doubt the joy of service.

Hello sorry I haven't submitted anything in like... actually when was my last post? *checks* Oh wow, that long eh? Alright then! This is another catcher-uper. Starting with... *drum-roll* Panda! The most adorable kitty ever!!!! No one will ever find a cuter kitty. However she's camera shy *believe it or not* and I consider myself very lucky to get the pictures I have of her. (Ask me to show you my cell phone sometime, its even better!)

Next is work! Finally I remembered to get a picture of the sign out front. My co-worker/friend Krystee and I changed it a couple weeks ago, sorry the deal is over now, we'll probably have to change it again soon.

This is Mercedes, she's one of my favorite boarders. Don't know what kind she is but I love her! Behind her is her companion Bently (yeah, the people must love cars), he's nice but jealous; aka. pet Mercedes and you get a Bently blockade in your face. Don't you love animals?

And this is Seamus. A little West Highland. He loved playing fetch, though he never relinquished the ball easily. Still he was adorable.

Now I get to the stuff we're all here for: my adorable family!!! Alright so Wednesday, Mom and I were babysitting while Steph was doing scouts, and so we all went to Sheepherder's Park. Lucky for me I remembered to put my camera in my bag that morning! Hehe~ I got some really cute pics, take a look!

I especially love the last one, good thing they all decided to work together and all had non-slippery feet! And now I bid you adieu, may life be full of little surprises - and may you all have a camera to save that moment with!
